About Us
Head Coach: Ruben Gutierrez
Coach Ruben wrestled four years in high school (including freestyle and Greco-Roman) and one semester at Sierra College. Coach Ruben was the head coach at ACMS for the 2019-2020 sea-son and head coach at AHS during COVID. He’s looking forward to coach-ing at AHS in 2021-2022.
JV Coach: Zach Galley
Coach Zach attended Roseville High School where he qualified for the SJS master’s tournament. He’s been wres-tling for about ten year. While in the Army, he gained additional coaching experience under former D1 wrestler, Jake Swartz, at Boise State.
Assistant Coach: Sonny Garcia
Coach Sonny comes from a wrestling family and has wrestled most of his life. He’s an accomplished California wrestler, with experience in all styles, at all levels.
